2010 MISSIONS GARDEN - Feeding the hungry in our community!
Over 1200 lbs of fresh produce was donated to local food pantries in 2010.
A Community Garden grant was received from the Capital Region
Community Foundation to erect fencing around our gardens to protect the
valuable produce from being devoured by our 4-footed friends. The garden
was a project of the Church, with special recognition and thanks going out
to Tom Knox, Les Dunckel, Keith Litchfield, and many others who
volunteered time and labor.

2011 MISSIONS GARDEN
As unlikely as it seemed, Spring weather made it more difficult to get the
gardens in than last year, resulting in a smaller garden for 2011. Even so,
over 600 lbs of produce was donated to those in need. Special thanks to all
who participated.
Please be aware that we are always happy to have volunteer helpers! For
details contact the Church office.
