Welcome to CROSSROADS UMC - Online!
On your first visit here, don't be surprised if you feel like you've been here
for a long time. Like you already know that you belong. Because it's true -
you do. We have a place for you here at Crossroads!
Whether you visit us because you're new in the area, or because you're
looking for something new in your life, you can find it here at Crossroads.
That's because we all have the same basic hunger inside: a hunger for that
sense of belonging to each other, and belonging to something bigger than
ourselves.
At Crossroads, we want to tend to both of those hungers: by helping you
build a strong connection to God through Jesus Christ, and by helping you
build a strong connection to others. It's our prayer that, if you've come this
far, you come to our church home for a visit. It could be a true "Crossroads
Experience" for you!
Do you realize that your decision to connect with God is the most important
decision you will ever make? It is a decision that affects your life now and
forever. The Bible says that God really does want the best for you. And
because of that, He gave the best He had to give. Jesus!
Crossroads UMC Sunday morning worship begins at 9:30am., with our
Praise Team leading the congregation in a time of sometimes quiet,
sometimes upbeat worship music all aimed at preparing the hearts and
minds of the people so all are able to focus on that which is truly
important - God.
At Crossroads, our worship “style” is blended - meaning that our music
combines the beauty and amazing lyrics of classic hymns with the joy, hope,
and energy of contemporary Christian worship and praise songs. Similarly,
our liturgy can range from centuries old prayers and creeds to modern
dramatic interpretation of scripture.
Our prayer time is uniquely Crossroads as everyone in the church joins
together in lifting the joys and concerns of the congregation, the
community, and the world up to the Lord. A visitor to our church should find
that every aspect of our service is grounded in scripture, sharing and
showing the glory and love of the Father, the redemptive power of Jesus’
death for us on the cross, and the work of the Holy Spirit in us.
We invite and encourage you to experience the love of Christ with us this
Sunday at 9:30 a.m..
